Happy HOWL-o-ween
Rex our lovable, high-energy puppy dressed up for the Pet Smart Howloween parade and doggie get-together. Yes, he actually kept the costume on (for about 2 seconds). Don't even ask how long it took to take this picture. Does he look like Yoda? And as for the headpiece... well, that was a little impossible. Why do pet parents do these things?

Autumn Stamp Camp - Manhattan Purse Card
Looks like September has gone in a flash - as it always seems to do. If you missed stamp camp this month, you can take a peek at some of the projects that you can try this Fall. If you have any questions about these projects, feel free to email me at lugeneral@yahoo.com.
Do you "wish big" when you look in your purse? This purse will give you a reason to do just that! Inside there is a special place for a gift card.

Autumn Stamp Camp - Halloween Shaker
Stampin' Up came out with this adorable stamp set and candy holder in the Winter Mini Catalog. What a great decoration, special treat or gift topper the set offers. Basically, you stamp, punch, add candy, add a stick (optional) and adhere together:
Autumn Stamp Camp - Brayer Sunset
Autumn Stamp Camp - Baby Wipe Technique
Don't you love the foods of Fall and the company of good friends? We made this bag for the next time a gift is needed for the hostess of a cozy get-together. To get the multicolored pheasant, we tried the baby wipe technique with the latest in-colors. Here's a close-up:

Sock Monkey Trying to Be Funny
Every year my brother finds the funniest cards for everyone's birthday! Now it's become quite my challenge to try and come up with a humorous Stampin' Up card for HIS birthday. So, here's my attempt...
On the outside, I paperpieced the sock monkey coming out of the scallop square punch and attached the saying: "You put your right hand in, you put your right hand out..." On the inside it reads: "What if the HOKEY POKEY really is what it's ALL about?" It's from the Smarty Pants set:
Would love to know what you think...

Top Note - Note Card
With Rex and house training taking up a good part of our free time, I've had to find quicker ways to create... is that possible??? So, as you can imagine, that's not good for my creative mojo. I'm finding that the clean and simple cards are the way to go. There are some great challenges on SCS. Here's one for this week. Thanks for visiting and please feel free to comment.
Trying to add a little something to the inside of my cards, too!

Purple Challenge!
How could I resist a challenge to use purple??? This is actually my second try to this challenge and this layout challenge.
I used the Rich Razzleberry Designer paper with the clear button to create the center of the flower. That was fun to put together and I really think that adds a nice punch of color to match the ribbon and background flourish.
Thanks for visiting!

Le Medallion Again
I am totally loving this Medallion, and have to play with it again. I followed this sketch challenge, but used my own color combo... yes, it's Rich Razzleberry again!
I stamped the Medallion in the craft Very Vanilla to create the background, added Le Jardin's flower and accented with Dazzling Diamonds (though not easy to see in the picture). And, of course, had to finish everything off with a Rhinestone Brad (love them).
Hope it inspires you to do some stamping on this humid, stormy day.

Simply Medallion
When I saw the Clean and Simple (CAS) Challenge this week, I had to give it a go, especially since Rex (our new puppy) has been keeping us plenty busy with even less time to stamp... gasp! What better stamp to use than the Medallion to create a quick and easy card?
To make the blurred colors on the Medallion, I inked the Medallion stamp in Apricot Appeal and sponged with Pixie Pink. To complete the color challenge here, I also added Certainly Celery.
Do you need ideas for those little scraps of paper? Don't forget to check the deal of the week. It is the last deal of the week and it's a good one! I love this heart punch! The hearts come in 3 different, cute shapes - use 1 or use them all. I love the tiny heart (used in this card) or in this card, or in this card.

Daisy & Razzleberry Baby Greetings
This baby card was commissioned by DH for a co-worker. Hope the new mom likes it!
Yes, it's another daisy card! Can this daisy be any more beautiful? If you have not guessed, I am quite addicted to it - seems to give every card that special punch. Speaking of punch, how about that Rich Razzleberry color? Definitely a fav!

Rich Razzleberry Fabric Daisy
Well, I knew I could... Now, I've done it! I made the daisy from fabric and freezer paper - so cool! The next time you get those Sizzix dies out, try them with fabric. There's a wonderful challenge here with a simple tutorial. I would love to see what you come up with... Go have some fun!

Razzleberry Lemonade Anyone?
I am lovin' this Razzleberry Lemonade designer paper. I would have never put these colors together on my own - but this paper is inspiring and fantastic! The Big Shot & Sizzix tools (i.e. the Daisy) has added such a dimension to stamping.

Razzle Dazzle Delight
Welcome to my first post on my newly launched stamping blog. I hope you find inspiration as you take your creative journey... or holiday. Don't forget to bring along your stamps, ink and paper as you come along.
So, I just ordered these new In Colors by Stampin' Up! They are so vivid - not quite what I'm used to, but I love the summer feel they bring.
